Miami Premier Soccer Club U-16s team in Raleigh, NC for tournament

Miami Premier Soccer Club’s U16s girls team was the only team selected from Dade County (in any age group) which had the opportunity to travel to Raleigh, NC in order to participate in the CASL Shootout Showcase, a nationwide soccer tournament held Dec 5th to 7th, 2004.  A total of 266 teams from around the country competed in this event, where Miami Premier’s U16 girls finished second in their group after beating teams from NC and GA.  Shown here attending the NCAA championship game between Notre Dame and UCLA are MPS team members, from left to right, front row: Heather Walton, Carolina Blanco, Natalia Ariza;  second row: Stephanie DeSouza, Carina Stebbins, Katie Aguirre, Juliana Stebbins, Whitney Engelke, Sandra Herran; third row: Brittany Padron, Erica Greene, Jasibe Cure-Twede, Nana Booth, Alex Castanos, Naike Savain; top row: Sarah Henderson, Samantha Evans, Lesley Osorio and Andrea Camere.
